On Saturday we had a fun family day and went to a local pond to walk around and play on the playground. Audrey had fun chasing the ducks (those poor ducks probably despise all the little kids!) It was an absolutely beautiful day and it was nice to just hang out, relax and enjoy each other's company! Ya know, its tough here in So Cal with our 75 degree January days!

Yesterday (Sunday) was another good day. We had an exciting day at church (they just announced that we're starting a satellite campus right down the street from our house). We're excited to see our church grow!
Then after church we had our friends Aaron and Zach & Kristi over to watch the super bowl game. Needless to say, Kristi and I were on kid duty while the boys watched the game but we all had a great time. Since Kristi is a mommy-in-training, she jumped right in and helped a lot with Wylie (when she could detach Audrey from her hip!)
Last night we had a couple of rude awakenings! First, at midnight Audrey woke up screaming hysterically so Michael jumped out of bed and ran in her room. Apparently she had stumbled out of bed (half asleep) and got stuck between the bed and her nightstand. Hmm, don't really know how that happened. Then at 4am on the dot, Wylie woke up, as he has the the last several mornings. What possesses him to wake up at this ungodly hour each morning is beyond me but I want it to STOP! Obviously this wasn't the ideal way to start a monday...but we've got to keep pushing on (and drink caffeine!)
